It's time of year again when we call Chef Avery back in to toss some pizzas!
Class runs select Sundays from 3-5ish pm. This class is 1.5-2 to hours depending upon class involvement/pace. This class is limited to 14 students. BYOB welcome.

We gladly welcome skilled young cooks aged 13 and up; please be aware that our classes primarily include adults and discussions are geared toward an adult audience. Dairy-free friends may build their pizzas without cheese, please request an Roman Vinaigrette side salad and/or dairy-free ice cream in the check-out form.
Vegetarian: Pizzas may be made vegetarian. Our Italian cookies are egg free!
Vegan: Pizzas may be made vegan! The salad can be made with Roman vinaigrette which is naturally vegan and you may select plant-based ice cream for dessert!
Wood-fired Pizza Class
You asked for it, and we are bringing it to you.
We invite you to come join us and learn the art of creating old world style pizza in a traditional wood-fired oven. Your instructor, Chef Avery, is an industry young gun offering nearly 12 years restaurant experience exclusively dedicated to the craft of pizza making.

Whether you're a pizza enthusiast or looking to elevate your skills, this class will give you the techniques to wow your friends and family with every pizza you make.
Your personal pizza will be served with a hand-tossed Caeser Salad made with toasty croutons and homemade dressing.
You will finish your with a “build-your-own” Italian cookie bar experience. Create your own panetteria worthy sandwiches. Pipe sweet and traditional amaretto mascarpone cream filling between two rich butter cookies. Roll in crushed almonds or mini chocolate chips. Dust with powdered sugar and enjoy or take home for later!
This abridged, less-structured class offers a more casual, demo-based curriculum then our standard Pricky Pear cooking class models, and at a more accessible price point! Because our dough requires 24 hours to proof, we will not be making dough in class. You will be provided full recipes and instruction on how to create your own dough at home. Our focus is on the fun, building and firing pizzas! But don’t be fooled, this class is heavy on method! Great pizza is a nuanced art that takes practice but your instructor will make it feel just like fun. It's messy and less formal, you will eat where you work, flour and all. We will provide aprons to help you stay clean. Grab a glass of chianti or a cheeky cold Peroni and move with Chef outside to our patio to watch the magic happen. Then enjoy your pizza and dessert within the comforts of our indoor classroom. Weather permitting, we will take the prep fully outside!
Because this class is partially al fresco, please dress accordingly.
