Our team-building and private party events are real classes!
The Prickly Pear has served top tier Austin tech- Meta, Dell, Oracle, Google-, University of Austin, Merck, Siete Family Foods, Wonderful Seedless Lemons, Amazon, TikTok, Meta, ONNIT, Self Inc., and Tenable, to name just a few. We offer a venue for your team/party to gather, learn and celebrate, but we also take pride in offering as much full-instruction/participation as possible. Allow us to recommend a menu for your crowd, or ask how we can build an experience around your needs. Let us know any team member(s) dietary restrictions prior to booking. We will make reasonable accommodations and tailor a menu that works for you.
The Prickly Pear Team Building Classes encourage your team to improve communication and collaboration. Our classes help people see each other in a different light, and allow them to connect in a different setting, all the while learning a new, fun, skill-set.
Email Before you contact us for pricing, check out our classes under “Classes Offered” tab of our website. Email us your desired date(s), and number in your party. We will help suggest the best menu for your team/group. Reach out today!

We have a class minimum of 8 students for team-building and private events. You may bring less students of course, but our minimum fee to go forward is 8.
Dates are secured through payment. We cannot hold dates without payment. Dates/classes are paid upfront per the terms of our invoice sent to you via the Stripe platform.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR YOUR TEAM/GUESTS: Please have your invitees arrive no more than 30 minutes prior to the scheduled event time. This is particularly important for those who will be ride sharing. We do not have a lobby to house early birds. No one wants to get caught waiting outside in the Texas heat or cold.
TEAM BUILDING & PRIVATE EVENT BOOKING, PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICIES:
*Payment is due as indicated on your invoice, most generally by the following day. Payments are made by credit card via the Stripe platform. Other payment arrangements must be discussed prior to booking. Please note that we do not work on terms, thank you. Your date is not secured until payment is made per due date on the invoice. We cannot hold dates. Your understanding is appreciated as we are a small business and this policy helps keep us operating.

*Approved additional students, (outside of the original invoiced count,) must be paid for prior to the event. We will otherwise only set-up for/serve the original count.
* Full refund with notification 7 days prior to the event.
* 50% refund with notification after 7 days and up to 2 days prior to the event.
* No refund with notification within 48 hours of the event.

Day of the event:
BYOB welcome, we provide the glasses, ice, openers and dedicated chilling fridge.
Please park anywhere along New York Avenue.
Kindly be mindful to not park in front of our neighbors’ driveways, note that some are unpaved and are only indicated by a break in the curb/sidewalk.
Doors open 30 minutes prior to the scheduled event.
We highly recommend students be there at least 15 minutes early to chat, wash up, and find seating.
